OUTLINE ITINERARY
DAY 01 : Arrival Jayapura – Wamena - Kilise (L,D)
Arrival Jayapura, meet by us, and continue your
flight depart to Wamena at 10.ooAM or 12.ooAM.
Upon arrival at Wamena airport, we will drop you
to local restaurant for having a lunch. If time
available after lunch we can visit Jibama Unique
market in 20 minutes then from Market directly
drop us to Yetni river is direction to Southern
Baliem Valley. From here where the trekking
begins with all the porters and cook to reach
Kilise in approx. 3 hours up and down the little
hills. Late afternoon arrive at Kilise village,
dinner will be provided by cook and overnight
stay at Dani Typical Guest house.(Walk
approx.3-4hours)
DAY 02 : Kilise – Syokosimo (B,L,D)
Walk and crossing the suspension bridge on
Baliem River then hike up to 4-5 hours through
the beautiful country side and Dani villages to
Hitugi village. You will encounter and greeted
by the Dani people who work in their steep sweet
potato garden, arrive in Hitugi in the
afternoon, lunch en route. If time still
permitted then you can continue walking from
Hitugi village, we hike 1,5 hours down to Mugi
river and cross the small traditional rope
bridge near a small water fall. From the
waterfall we still hike 30 minutes and will
arrive in the village of Syokosimo,
accommodation at the teacher's guest house.(Walk
approx. 6-7hours)
DAY 03 : Syokosimo – Nain – Kurima – Wamena (B,L,D)
Today, we hike down and the trail is steep and
could be very sleeper if it is in rainy season.
then continue the last trekking day back to
Kurima with regular path of local people, and
cross suspension hanging bridge over Baliem
river. We walk at Baliem river bank until Kurima.
You may stop at river for
re-freshing of your body and take some breaks.
Picnic lunch have provided, and late afternoon
arrive in Kurima and Yetni then catch the car
for drive back to Wamena town in 40 minutes.
Dinner and overnight stay at Baliem pilamo
hotel (Walk approx. 5-6 hours)
DAY 04 : Wamena – Jiwika (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel, today you we will be
transferred by mine bus more to the northern
Baliem Valley in 45 minutes for seeing the
older Mummy, by walking around the Dani villages
for exploring the way of life of local people,
plantation, nature and culture surrounding. you
can make some pictures with local people but you
must to ask them first or your guide how much
you should pay it. lunch in Box are provided and
continue walking to Anamogaima village to enjoy
the Mock war and traditional dances which is
usually they did for the traditional events over
past tens years. we will show you other good
places as long as the time still available.
Drive return to the town for dinner and
overnight stay.
DAY 05 : Wamena – Jayapura – Next Destinations

You still accompanied by guide, walking to the
airport in 10 minutes, for catching your flight
back to Jayapura at 07:00am and continue onward
flight to next destinations.
