Easy Trekk
OUTLINE ITINERARY
DAY 01 : Arrival Jayapura -
Wamena (L,D)
Arrival Jayapura, meet by your
guide, and continue your flight depart to Wamena
at 10.ooAM or 12.ooAM. Upon arrival at Wamena
airport transfer to Baliem Pilamo Hotel for a
short briefing about the trekking. After lunch,
Visit Jibama local market then by car drive in
25 minutes to Suroba village and hike through
hanging bridge. Afternoon return to the hotel
for dinner and stay at Baliem Pilamo Hotel or
similar.
DAY 02 : Wamena – Kurima -
Kilise (B,L,D)
After breakfast at your
accommodation, by car to Kurima in the south of
Baliem valley, here you will visit the
traditional Dani villages and walk entering
their sweet potatoes garden. We will hike for
approximately 3-4 hours through the beautiful
countryside and hearth break panoramic. Prepared
lunch in boxes will be served en route to the
village. Dinner and overnight at unique guest
house of Dani people.
DAY 03 : Kilise – Userem (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you are proceed
to descend the steep hill down to traditional
hanging bridge across Baliem river. Today's walk
is a little harder with narrow and slippery
paths. But you may also enjoying the nature' s
beauty. Trek will be around 4-5 hours. Lunch en
route, dinner and overnight at teacher’s house
or primary school.
DAY 04 : Userem – Kurima –
Wamena (B,L,D)
After breakfast, walk for about
4-5 hours down to Kurima village then cross
another hanging bridge over Baliem River. Then
from Baliem river 30 minutes till the terminal
of Kurima where the car ready to take you back
to Wamena. Lunch served en route. Overnight at
Baliem Pilamo Hotel or similar.
DAY 05 : Wamena – Jiwika –
Wamena - Jayapura (B,L,D)
After breakfast, drive 30 minutes
to Jiwika in the North of Baliem valley to see
the 250 years old Mummy. Then walk 10 minutes to
village of Anemoigi where you can view local
people live traditionally and learn about way of
life of local people. Still by car continue
visit Wasaput and Sinatma surrounding. Lunch at
hotel. After lunch at 13.00pm by car transfer to
the airport for your flight return to jayapura
ETD 14.00pm. Arrive in Jayapura directly
transfer to the hotel. Dinner at local
restaurant and overnight at hotel.
DAY 06 : Jayapura Full Day Tour
(B,L,D)
After breakfast at hotel, Full
day sightseeing tour to visit ; boating at
Sentani lake, Museum, Lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, continued to visit, Hamadi market
and Jayapura city. Afternoon drive back to hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 07 : Jayapura – Departure (B)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for
your flight to the next destinations
